We have recently converted the ugly old chapel, into a warm and inviting “Gathering Place.” The Elders have invested in converting this room into a place where our people can gather for fellowship, conversation, good coffee… We hope that it will be a place that gets much use by our church body. We have been much isolated this past year with the covid lockdowns and it is time for us to spend more time together, investing ourselves into one another’s lives. It is time for us to pray together, encourage one another, come to know and trust one another, and stir one another up for love and good works.
Already, there are weekly events being scheduled in the “The Gathering Place.”
On Wednesday Nights, we have the “Touchlight Ministry” meeting from 7-9PM. This is a time when the room will be open, the coffee will be on and folks from the church and meet together for conversation, a board game, a time of prayer, some fellowship.
ON Sunday Nights, we have the evening service meeting now in the room — until the break, and then again in the Fall.
On the 2nd and 4th Monday Night, the Chess Club is meeting to fellowship around the chess board. All levels welcome, first timers encouraged to come!
On the nights we set aside for evangelism, we will begin and end the night at the Gathering Place…
